Does the thought of going on a first date make you kinda nervous? Does your memory of the last one make you cringe with embarrassment? Maybe you don’t know what to do on a first date? Maybe you lack first date ideas? If so, you’re not alone. Few people find dating simple and straightforward, even (and perhaps especially) in the age of Tinder and Match.com.

The good news is that, with the right strategy, you can avoid some of the more common pitfalls and anxieties. Going on a date will be something to look forward to rather than dread.

Blue ocean strategy is a strategic framework for creating an uncontested market space and making the competition irrelevant. But apart from its application in business, it can be just as easily applied to personal lives. One of the tools we utilized to come up with first date tips here is called the Eliminate-Reduce-Raise-Create (ERRC) grid, developed by Chan Kim and Renee Mauborgne, the authors of a global bestseller Blue Ocean Strategy. 1. Don’t overcomplicate things

The first date with someone you know little or nothing about is full of uncertainty. Don’t make things more complicated by trying to arrange the perfect romantic dinner, or planning a whole day out. Instead, keep things short and simple. A cup of coffee in a central location will make it clear fast if your date is someone you would like to spend more time with. And if things go well, the coffee could turn into a lunch or dinner, adding some spontaneity into the mix.

Calentar y estirar: dos pilares fundamentales para tu rutina de ejercicios

Calentar nos ayuda a preparar de manera significativa el cuerpo para iniciar una rutina de ejercicios aumentando la temperatura corporal, lo que significa que vas a poder utilizar cada músculo de tu cuerpo de una forma más eficiente a la hora de hacer ejercicio y también te va a ayudar a prevenir lesiones durante las rutinas.

¿Cómo puedo dividir los estiramientos?

Los estiramientos los podemos dividir entre dos categorías: estiramientos dinámicos y estáticos.

Los estiramientos estáticos son estos donde mantienes la postura del movimiento durante al menos, como máximo, 30 segundos y te recomendamos algunos como:

• Recuesta tu espalda de forma recta en una pared, alza tu pie izquierdo a la altura de tu cadera, lo que más puedas y toca la punta de tu pie con la mano derecha. Mantén durante al menos 30 segundos la postura y haces lo mismo utilizando el pie y mano contraria. 

• Te puedes poner en una posición de gateo con la espalda recta y poner la mano derecha a la altura de tu espalda, estirarla lo más que puedas y sostener por 30 segundos. Luego, puedes cambiar a tu otra mano y también repetirlo con los pies en la misma posición.
  

Los estiramientos dinámicos son aquellos donde debes hacer un movimiento continúo y suave para que no te vayas a lesionar antes de tiempo. Los estiramientos son muy importantes y efectivos porque nos ayudan mucho a activar la circulación sanguínea. Puedes hacer algunos como:

• Las famosas tijeras donde estás de pie y abres tus piernas a la medida de tu cintura, levantas tus brazos y acompañas de un pequeño salto, a medida que vas saltando abres y cierras las piernas y bajas y subes los brazos a los laterales de tu cuerpo.

• También puedes ubicarte de pie y levantar tus pies en un ángulo de 90° e ir intercalando, primero el derecho y luego el izquierdo acompañado de un salto pequeño cada vez que cambies de pie. Haz al menos unas 10 repeticiones por pie. 

Estirar y calentar pueden llevar tu cuerpo y ejercicio a otro nivel antes y después de cada actividad física. Te sugerimos primero calentar y estirar al final de la rutina. Además, son prácticas que pueden ayudarte a largo plazo con beneficios inmensos en tu salud. Dedica al menos 15 minutos a ti para que estires y calientes todos tus músculos.
